SIAG Stahlbau Ruhland GmbH & Co. KG continues more than 90 years of tradition in steel construction in Ruhland in Lower Lusatia as since the year 1921 in the former “Eisenbau Manig” steel is handled. After years of changeful history structural steel is today the core area of the company.

 

Company history:

- foundation of “Eisenbau Manig” on 1st July 1921
- 1949 - 59 VEB Stahl- und Brückenbau Ruhland
- 1960 - 67 VEB Lausitzer Stahlbau Ruhland
- 1968 - 90 Combine for Lightweight Metal Construction – plant Ruhland
- 1990 - 96 Lausitzer Stahlbau Ruhland GmbH in der Mitteldeutschen
Industrieanlagen- und Stahlbau GmbH Leipzig
- Privatisation as Lausitzer Stahlbau Ruhland GmbH on 29th November 1996
- since 2005 SIAG Stahlbau Ruhland GmbH & Co. KG
- since June 2011 independent from SIAG AG as a serarate company
